MOONSTONE ROOM MAY NEWS
Happy Spring, families! What a joy to see the season changing so rapidly now that we have reached the month of May. In Moonstone Room, the children have really enjoyed watching the gradual transformation of our caterpillars as they ate, grew, and turned their bodies into chrysalises. The students now await the final metamorphosis! In May, we will be talking about animals that help humans to survive. We will learn about butterflies and other pollinators as well as the earthworm and its important work as we continue to grow our garden. We are keeping butterfly and garden journals in the classroom, to help the students review our learning and make their own observations of the world. In May, we will also dive into learning about magnets!
